A 6 mile round trip hike to Harney Peak. These are the steps going up to the old lookout tower that they have abandoned. The following pictures are of the view from up there. Elevation 7242 feet ASL.
I think that Jonathan Visscher would like to do some rock climbing here. There are all kinds of chutes and needle columns to climb around.
Kay and I felt like we were in Heaven as the view was great and the animal like these chipmunks were not afraid of you and just wanted to share our dried nectarines.
